If you communicate with us on WhatsApp, we may also process the content of your messages and message status information such as delivery, read and response status. Our website and hosting provider may collect basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and access times for security and performance purposes.

How we use information

We use information to respond to enquiries, schedule and provide vehicle services, maintain service records, improve our website, prevent misuse and meet applicable business or legal requirements. We may also use it to send the WhatsApp communications described below. We do not sell personal information.

WhatsApp communications

If you provide your mobile number and agree to receive messages from Chamunda Motors on WhatsApp, we may send:

• Service and transactional messages, such as appointment confirmations, service reminders, repair approvals, vehicle-status updates, invoices and responses to your requests.
• Promotional messages, such as service offers, seasonal maintenance reminders and other relevant promotions, only where you have agreed to receive them.

Consent to receive promotional messages is optional and is not a condition of receiving vehicle service. Where practical, we keep promotional consent separate from consent for requested service updates. We may retain records showing when and how consent was provided, the categories selected and any opt-out request.

Stopping WhatsApp messages

You can opt out of promotional WhatsApp messages at any time by replying STOP. To stop all WhatsApp communication, reply STOP ALL or contact us using the details below. We will honour the request and update our communication preferences. You may still contact the workshop directly whenever you need assistance.

WhatsApp and service providers

We use the WhatsApp Business Platform to send and receive messages. Your mobile number, message content and related technical information may therefore be processed by Meta, WhatsApp and service providers that help us operate the messaging service, in accordance with their own terms and privacy practices. Information may be processed on systems located outside your state or country where permitted.

Google Maps and external services

Our website embeds Google Maps and links to external websites. Those services may receive technical information or use cookies under their own privacy policies. Their handling of information is outside our control.

Sharing and retention
